I should have reread this article before meeting with my narcissist ex-husband. I wonder if I’m expecting too much by hoping he will settle our court case according to the agreement we made during our discussion. These people are slippery snakes and we must stay aware of that when we talk to them.

I wish I could stay in no contact with the abuser but we have children together. Children keep you tied to their other parent. It’s a sad reality we live with.
